GRANTS AND AWARDS
I’m deeply honored to receive the Innovative Dance Educator Award by NYSDEA (New York State Dance Education Association), NY, USA, and to be nominated for the 2022 Dance Educators Award, IADMS (International Association of Dance Medicine & Science).
We also found time to participate in a Creative Residency at The Dragon’s Egg, Connecticut, United States, as well as the Parent Artist-in-Residence Program at Movement Research, New York, United States.
Over these 16 years, your sustained support has helped me create outstanding performances & high caliber educational programs, exploring my artistic voice as a Latina artist living in New York. It comes from a deep examination of my motivations as a woman, mother, and immigrant.
With Love and Gratitude, Anabella
